Hyderabad, June 7, 2006

The Chief Minister, YS Rajasekhara Reddy on Wednesday laid the foundation stone for the EME Sainik Institute in Secunderabad. The institute to come up at the Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME) is expected to provide welfare oriented educational programmes and other facilities for serving and retired soldiers.

MCEME Commandant Arvind Mahajan said that the institute was yet another step towards helping the retired soldiers and their families.
