CM flags off Green Rally on World Environment Day

Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy flagged off a Green Rally in Hyderabad to mark the World Environment Day celebrations.

Effective utilization of dry lands and watershed management through rainwater harvesting are important, he said. Nine districts (Anantapur, Cuddapah, Kurnool, Prakasam, Chittoor, Mahabubnagar, Rangareddy, Nalgonda and Medak) in the state are at an alarming level and needs special attention, he said.
