Hyderabad, June 29, 2006

A delegation led by Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Leader K Vijayaramarao submitted a memorandum at the Governor's office asking for an independent impartial probe into the conduction of the recent Panchayat Raj elections by the Andhra Pradesh Government and the State Election Commission (SEC).

The delegation also asked the Governor to look into all the judgments given by the State High Court and take an independent opinion on them.
