Election Commission responds to reports of mal practices
Vijayanagaram, June 28, 2006
The Election Commission on Wednesday ordered re polling in two villages of L.Kota and Nellimarla mandals following reports of rigging and electoral mal practices. According to Zilla Parishad Executive Officer, A.Jagadeesh, the Election Commission ordered re election in Kallepalli village of L.Kota mandal and Boppadam village of Nellimarla due to complaints of large scale rigging and law and order disturbances.
The Chief Election Officer said that re polling will be held in the two villages between 7am to 5pm on June 30.
