Interpol arrests Venkateswara Rao recently

A Special Team of the CID on Tuesday night brought back the Chairman of Krushi Bank K Venkateswara Rao. He fled to Thailand days before the collapse of Krushi Bank was arrested by the Interpol in Bangkok following a red corner notice issued by the Interpol.
The State CID which pursued the extradition process at last succeeded in getting custody of Venkateswara Rao and flew him down to Hyderabad. At the Airport, the CID team had formally executed a non-bailable warrant pending against the bank Chairman after completing th immigration check.
After the process, he was taken to the magistrate's residence where the process of taking him into police remand was on.
