Emergency Services currently offered in 42 cities
Hyderabad, June 24, 2006Emergency Management and Research Institute (EMRI) will launch its 108 Emergency Service in 50 more locations by the end of this month. EMRI which completed nine months of operations in the State is currently serving from 42 cities in the state, a press release stated.
The EMRI said that it had received 40,000 emergency calls out of 17,00,000 calls and saved 3000 lives. The release said that the average time taken from call receipt to reaching hospital was 35 minutes.
