A four member gang led by a school teacher were arrested by the police on the charge of committing a series of house burglaries. Additional Commissioner of Police (Crimes) told media persons on Sunday that the officials of Central Crime Station arrested Srinivas and other gang and recovered gold and silver jewelery and other valuables worth Rs.4.5 lakhs. He was sent to Chanchalguda jail.

According to police sources, Srinivas set up a school at Kalwakurthy after completing his Postgraduate and he was kingpin behind the series of burglaries. He also cheated the Andhra Pradesh State Financial Corporation (APSFC) on the pretext of launching a transport business.
