Hyderabad, July 5, 2006The electronically coded locker of Krushi Bank former Chairman K.Venkateswara Rao was opened by the CID officials on July 4. After the scam broke out, the locker could not be opened by the CID officials due to lack of password. During investigation, he revealed the password and the officials opened the locker.
According to sources, some incriminating documents pertaining to him and his investments in Mumbai and other cities were retrieved from the locker. He said that he is facing danger from some persons and said that he would clear off all the dues to his depositors by selling away whatever property he had. The remand expires on July 7 and the CID officials is still undecided on whether to seek further custody of the accused.
