EBC setting up large bearing manufacturing unit

To become first Indian plant to produce large size bearings

Hyderabad, July 3, 2006

The Chairman and Managing Director of European Bearings Corporation (EBC) said that it is setting up a bearings plant in Hyderabad. The investment on this project would be about Rs.124 crores and the production is scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2007.

EBC Bearings (India) would be manufacturing large size bearings and this will be the first plant in India to produce such a large size bearings. These bearings would serve the requirements of railways, steel, mining, cement and power generation industries.
