Vijayawada, July 26, 2006

The Vijayawada police arrested a tea vendor on Wednesday on the charge of possessing explosives. They seized 15 power gel sticks, 30 detonators, two kg of ammonium nitrate and two bundles of fuse wire. The officials suspect him that he was a courier for quarry owners of Ibrahimpatnam and their counterparts in Guntur who; were exchanging explosives used for blasting.
