Post-mortem withheld on two women naxalites

Heavy police security was deployed in Guntur and the situation was like curfew situation with the police diverting the traffic from 500 metres of the mortuary before the bodies arrived in a lorry. In accordance with the directions of the AP High Court, the three man committee of doctors from Forensic Science department began the work at 11am.
Tension prevailed with the rumors that Gaddar would perform at Naaz Centre and accompanies the bodies to Hyderabad. Relatives of the slain naxals arrived from Ongole and went to the Bar Association premises on the District Court complex. The bodies were highly decomposed. A team of doctors consisting of Professor of Forensic Science GB Rajkumar, Assistant Professor Mandava Srinivasarao and GGH in charge Superintendent Phanibhushan conducted the postmortem.
The postmortem of two slain woman naxals has been withheld as none of their relatives came to claim them. One of the bodies was identified as Sangita and the other could not be identified. The police escorted the vans till they went out of the city and however no untoward incident took place.
