Names of the leaders present at the site

The Police have recovered key documents from the encounter site at Nallamala forest area. It may be recalled that eight naxals were killed in the encounter. One of the documents was released to the press on Wednesday. The document revealed the names of the leaders who had gathered at the site for the meeting for the CPI (Maoist).

The documents reveal the names of the leaders in order of seniority. The list includes State Secretary Madhav, Nallamala Forest Divisional Committee (NFDC) secretary Satyam alias Sudarsan and Guntur district secretary Jeevan. The first name was Madhav followed by Satyam, Santha, Sekhar, Ramesh, Bhaskar, Sekhar, Jeevan and Prakash. The document also reveals the names of eight persons who were on sentry duty at a post and four persons who were guarding the observation post at different times of the day on Sunday.

The Superintendent of Police, N.Balasubramanyam said that the document clearly indicates the names of leaders, guards and cooks etc., who were present at the site on the day of encounter.
