Court says behavior of officers condemnable

Hyderabad, July 21, 2006

The High Court on Friday issued notices to Nalgonda District Collector and Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) as to why action should not be taken against them for contempt of court. Justice PS Narayana observed that the behavior of the two officers was highly condemnable and shown total disrespect to the court orders.

Both the officials have allegedly ignored the order passed by the Judge with regard to review of electoral rolls in Bibinagar in the district. The District Collector had filed an affidavit stating that on June 14 itself he had reviewed the orders passed by him earlier whereas the judge did not even sign the judgment by that time.
