IAS Officer suspended on charges of indecent behavior

Principal Secretary formally issues suspension orders

The Government placed K Mangapathi Rao, Commissioner, Employment and Training was placed under suspension on charges of indecent behavior with a lady employee. The Chief Minister who is speaking to media announced the same. Principal Secretary (Political), General Administration department issued a formal order for the suspension.

The order said that the action was being taken following a representation by a women employee. Disciplinary action against the IAS officer falls under the Government of India's purview and hence the Centre has been informed about the same.
