Hyderabad, July 19, 2006

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) has come up August 15 as yet another deadline for the Congress-led Government to come out with a policy statement on the issue of separate Telangana. The party warned of a mass movement if the the outcome is not satisfactory. TRS President K Chandrasekhara Rao along with A Narendra on Wednesday said at a press conference that they have waited sufficiently long period on the issue.

He claimed that consensus had been reached on the Telangana issue with more than 450 MPs had extended written support for the separate Telangana. He made it clear that TRS would not wait beyond August 15 and hoped that the Congress would fulfil its commitment.

However, the scene has been shifted to Delhi and declined to the course of action if the Congress fails to comment itself on Telangana. He severally criticized the Chief Minister, Dr.YS Rajasekhara Reddy for his step motherly hood attitude on Telangana.
