Zydus Cadila pharma company has undertaken study

Zydus Cadila, a pharmaceutical company has undertaken a survey to identify people suffering from Blood Pressure (BP) in the State. The company has examined 50,000 people in rural areas and identified that 90 per cent of them were affected with BP. The survey revealed that the number of people suffering from BP are increasing day by day due to various reasons.

The study reveals that one per cent of the people in the age group of 10 to 20 years and 9 per cent in the age group of 20 to 30 years have BP. Frequent headaches, strain, stress are some of the symptoms of BP and many of the people do not know that they have BP. The company is distributing medicines free of cost after conducting the tests. The company conducted a BP awareness camp in Rajanagaram of East Godavari district on Monday.
