North South Foundation to offer scholarships

Scholarships for higher studies

Hyderabad, July 17, 2006

The US-based North South Foundation is offering scholarships for engineering, medicine and polytechnic courses to students who could not pursue further studies and who have excelled in the recently held common entrance test. The eligibility criteria include students from Government and or Government aided schools only and the family income should not exceed Rs.40,000 (Rs.28,000 in rural areas) .

The top five ranks in the test with relaxation of five percent in rural including students in ranks. Applications can be collected from D.Seetharamiah, Room 316, Model House, Third floor, Panjagutta, Hyderabad 500 082) phone number 040-23356368 by sending a self addressed stamped envelope along with rank card of test held this year. Applications can also be filed on line at northsouth.org and the last date for filing applications is August 8.
