CM directs officials to expedite Rajiv centres

2000 Rajiv Internet centres by year end

The Chief Minister, Dr.YS Rajasekhara Reddy directed the officials of Information Technology to expedite the setting up of at least 2000 Rajiv Internet Village centres by the year end. He reviewed the activities of AP Technology Commissionerate of Electronically Deliverable Services(EDS) with senior officials on Monday.

The Chief Minister asked them to bring all the service delivery channels under e-Seva, Rajiv Internet Village centres and RSDPs under one roof for their effective functioning. IT Secretary K.Ratna Prabha said that the issues relating to trying of optic fibre cable to the AP Transco poles had been sorted out following which the work on the AP Broadband project had gained momentum.
