High alert sounded in Hyderabad

Mumbai series of bomb blasts

The city police was put on high alert and a virtually blanket in the city following a series of bomb blasts in Mumbai and Srinagar. Hundreds of police personnel and anti sabotage teams were descended at vulnerable places like Airport, railway stations, bus stands and places of worship. Checking of vehicles and cordon and search operations have been taken up vigorous note with all the senior police officers supervising the operations.

The City Police Commissioner, AK Mohanty said that all precautionary measures were taken and cautioned the people about the abandoned objects. He advised the general public to alert the police over 100 or 23261166 if they find any suspicious objects.
