CM inaugurates new facility
Hyderabad, January 29, 2006Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy inaugurated a new facility of Dell Inc, a leading information technology supplier. Dr. Reddy later had a brief meeting with Kevin B. Rollins, CEO of Dell. Mr. Rollins said that the expansion drive of Dell in Hyderabad was not just a mere expansion in numbers but was to a strategic business.
Dr. Reddy explained about the facilities that the Government of Andhra Pradesh is providing for setting up centres in the state. He said that the planners are actively taking steps to de-congest the city by setting up a 8-lane outer ring road and the establishment of a knowledge corridor. He said that Visakhapatnam is growing as a BPO hub and asked the company to considering it to have a presence there.
