Sushil Kumar could make his way to the Union Cabinet
Hyderabad, January 28, 2006The Andhra Pradesh Governor, Sushil Kumar Shinde tendered his resignation to pave way for his introduction into the Union Council of Ministers on Sunday He left for Mumbai en route to Delhi sent his resignation to the President APJ Abdul Kalam by fax and was accepted forthwith.
At Raj Bhavan, arrangements are being made for the swearing in of a new Governor as an interim arrangement till the new Governor is posted. The swearing in would take place on Sunday. According to sources, either the Tamil Nadu or Orissa Governor would hold additional charge of Andhra Pradesh.
