Rajahmundry - East Godavari, January 22, 2006Arrangements are being made to conduct Godavari Utsav in a grand manner from Tuesday and the Utsav Committee has launched a new website on Sunday. Mayor of Rajahmundry Municipal Corporation (RMC) MS Chakaravarti and Andhra Pradesh Paper Mills Executive Director RC Mal and President PK Soori inaugurated a cricket match at Arts College Grounds to mark the start of sports competitions in connection with Godavari Utsav.
Mayor MS Chakravarti said that Dialabs of Visakhapatnam had designed a beautiful website godavariutsav.com giving all the information about Rajahmundry City, its history, Godavari river and its importance, Pushkarams, programme schedule, travel information and Utsav Committee. They designed the site providing information through Interactive Voice Response and SMS systems and the number of IVR is 2449990 and SMS is 9949466562.
