Two-day infant stolen - Police launches hunt for the fake doctor
Anantapur, January 20, 2006
A two day old infant was reportedly stolen from the General Hospital attached to the Government Medical College on Friday. The mother of the stolen infant refused to leave the maternity ward even as the hospital authorities left no stone unturned to console her.
The Chief Minister directed the District Collector to take necessary steps in this regard and action should be initiated against the guilty. The police are investigating the case to pick up the culprit.
