Faction wars are again raising in Anantapur
Anantapur, January 17, 2006Congress leader and Mandal Parishad President of Mudiguba I.Srinivasa Reddy was allegedly attacked by his rivals in the district on Tuesday. One of his followers was killed and five injured including Srinivasa Reddy. According to the police information, Srinivasa Reddy's followers were attacked by his rivals on the four wheeler in which he was traveling from Indukuru to Mudiguba.
The attackers had placed a tractor and a jeep across the road before attacking the target in four batches with bombs. Nearly 25 bombs were hurled on the vehicle. A couple of them exploded near the vehicle ad remaining were off the target. The injured were rushed to the hospital where the condition of one of the followers is stated to be serious.
