Rajahmundry - East Godavari, January 16, 2006All arrangements is on the way for the smooth conduct of the Godavari Utsav scheduled to commence from January 24 to 27 and the also the centenary celebrations of the district in a big way. An Utsav committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Jakkampudi Ramamohana Rao, Minister for Roads and Buildings, Mayor MS Chakravarti will be the convener.
Speaking at a press conference on Monday, they said that the Actress-turned-MP and native of East Godavari Jayaprada would launch the Godavari Utsav of both East and West Godavari districts on January 24.
