Hyderabad becomes host for Animation India 2006 begins
Hyderabad, January 13, 2006Animation India 2006, the two-day event of the State Government and NASSCOM served to open new areas of cooperation and highlighted the countrys potential in the multi billion dollar and rapidly growing global gaming and animation industry The Independent Games Developers Association (TIGA), an Organization representing 130 technology/content developers is convinced of the country's potential and cooperation between India and UK based companies.
TIGA International Trade Adviser Nikkan Woodhouse said on Friday that moves were on for parleys with iGITA, the Indian Game Industry Association to see how the interface could be made meaningful and turned into business opportunities. The gaming development industry was one of the UK's success stories.
