ANR Award will be given to film personalities by the Akkineni International Foundation
Hyderabad, January 10, 2006Renowned evergreen actor Dev Anand is picked for the first ever ANR Award. The ANR Award will be presented to Dev Anand at a function on January 14 at Jubilee Hall. Constitute by the Akkineni International Foundation, the annual award will be given to a national-level distinguished person for his outstanding services and contribution to the Indian Cinema.
The award will carry Rs. 3 lakhs. Speaking with the press, Venkat Akkineni of the Akkineni International Foundation said that that award will be extended to budding talented sports personalities as well.
