Court uphelds civic authorities decision

It may be recalled that the fire in the Pushpanjali complex created a huge loss on last Sunday. The efforts of the District Administration and Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad, the High Court has refused to grant stay to the demolition of the Pushpanjali complex in Koti.
The Court, which was responding to a petition filed by owners of the shops in the Pushpanjali complex after the fire accident, has upheld the decision of civic authorities to pull down the building and stated that if the owners themselves did not do it, the Government could go ahead. With the demolition, process said the District Collector Arvind Kumar on Thursday.
