Cheque handed over to Chairman of Care Hospitals
Hyderabad, February 8, 2006
Extending support to the Little Hearts Project launched by Care Hospitals, HSBC Global Resourcing on Wednesday contributed Rs.8.5 lakhs towards providing treatment for needy children suffering from heart ailments.
May Rihardson, CEO, HSBC, Education Trust of the UK handed over the cheque for the amount to Somaraju, Chairman of Care Hospitals. This was the HSBC's second instalment. An equal amount was donated last year towards surgeries of 35 children. Malcolm Wagget, COO, HSBC said the organization would also support a facility for helping street children in Visakhapatnam.
