Shamshabad police arrests hunters

Shamshabad police arrested two peacock hunters during a frisking operation and two dead peacocks were seized from their possession on Saturday midnight. The peacocks were shot dead with a single barrel gun at Kotwalguda forest area.

According to Shamshabad inspector P.Ramakanta Rao, the duo were abed on Saturday midnight and booked them under various sections of Wild Life Protection Act and Indian Arms Act. They confessed the act of killing peacocks. The duos were produced before VIII metropolitan magistrate, Rajendranagar.
