Municipal Corporation Engineer in ACB net

Property of about Rs. 35 Lakhs seized

Anantapur, February 6, 2006

Officials of Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday arrested an assistant engineer of Municipal Corporation of Anantapur for possessing assets above his known income.

They raided his two residents and at Srikalahasti in Chittoor district simultaneously. During raids they found that the engineer had assets of about Rs.35 lakhs and he would be produced in the ACB court on Tuesday.
