Hyderabad, February 26, 2006

The Secunderabad - Chennai Egmore Express was flagged off by MP Anjan Kumar Yadav on Sunday. It will run via Mahabubnagar, Kurnool and Kadapa fulfilling a long cherished dream of people of Rayalaseema for a direct train to Chennai.

The train would leave at 3pm at Secunderabad and reach Chennai at 6.40am the next day. SCR Divisional Manager Sudhir Mittal said that Secunderabad station was one of the best in the country and was getting top priority in providing passenger amenities and cleanliness.
