Cuddapah, February 19, 2006

Political parties, civil liberties and voluntary organizations on Sunday demanded the Chief Minister, YS Rajasekhara Reddy drop to establish a uranium plant in Vemula Mandal of Pulivendula constituency.

The plant to be set up by Uranium Corporation of India Ltd., and the State Government would not only degrade the environment but also have long-term effects on public health speakers observed at a round table conference.
