CM speaks at State-level Convention on Maize Procurement
Karimnagar, February 19, 2006
Participating as chief guest in the State-level Convention on Maize Procurement on Sunday, the Chief Minster, YS Rajasekhara Reddy said the Government would provide loans to about three lakh SHGs during this year at the rate of four per cent interest and all the six lakh SHGs would be covered next year.
He also said that the women SHG members would be entrusted with the job of recovering the loans taken by beneficiaries for construction of houses. The Government would offer a commission of five per cent for the recovery of the loans.
