Hyderabad, February 19, 2006Two call centre employees were killed on the spot as a bus had a narrow escape in a collision involving an RTC bus and a motor cycle in the wee hours of Sunday. The impact of the collision was such that the bus dragged the bike for around 200 yards triggering sparks that set the two-wheeler's petrol tank on fire and in turn the entire bus ablaze.
The bus passengers saw smoke rising from beneath the bus and scampered out to safety. Trimulgherry Inspector P. Raja Babu and other police officials rushed to the spot. Meanwhile, the bus driver surrendered at the Karkhana police station and it is understood that the police has registered a case under section 304 A of IPC for causing death by negligence.
