Fasting against irregularities
East Godavari, February 18, 2006The indefinite fast launched by Bandaru Veera Venkata Satyanarayana, secretary of 'Yuva Spandana' Disabled Welfare Association, in support of his demands in front of the Collectorate ended abruptly on the fourth day on Saturday following his hospitalization due to deterioration of health.
However, another physically challenged person KV Ramamurthy joined the fast seeking action against the Assistant Director of Physically Handicapped Welfare Department for alleged irregularities in distribution of pensions.
