Khadi Gramodyog Pradarshan 2006 inaugurated

Exhibition to be open for 15 days

Government will extend all possible help for the promotion of Khadi industry. Problems of the artisans, if any, would be looked into, said Labour Minister G.Vinod while inaugurating the Khadi Gramodyog Pradarshan 2006 at the Institution of Engineers in Khairatabad on Saturday.

The 15-day long State Level exhibition is sponsored by the Andhra Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board. The present exhibition was intended to create awareness among the urban about the khadi and village industries products, he said. Nearly 50 stalls sponsored by the KVIC are set up. The exhibition is on till March 4 and will be open for public from 11am to 10pm every day.
