Naxalites belived to be connected with the incident

Naxalites blasted two claymore mines in Diguvametta Railway station in Prakasam district on Saturday. While one mine exploded causing minor damage to furniture in the ticket collector's room the other failed to explode.

According to police sources nearly twenty armed naxals descended on the small railway station and resorted to violence.
