The Speaker KR Suresh Reddy suspended eleven TRS members for two days on Friday when they staged a sit in near the podium demanding stoppage of Polavaram project and protecting the interests of the tribals.

Marshals took out the suspended members as they did not respond to the plea by the Speaker. The marshals had to carry a couple of reluctant MLAs by their shoulders while the latter shouted anti Polavaram slogans.
