Hyderabad, February 14, 2006

The Andhra Pradesh Junior Doctors Association has demanded withdrawal of the Government Order No.19 envisaging reservation of 30 to 50 per cent seats in Post graduate medial entrance examination for in service candidates.

In a memorandum submitted to the Principal Secretary, Health IV Subbarao, the association sought to justify the demands. It warned the administration if the GO were not withdrawn, junior doctors would have no option but to go on indefinite strike.
