Boath court judge issued a non-bailable warrant against Telugu Desam Party spokesman an former Union Minister S.Venugopalacharay. He beat a head constable of Boath police station in 1999 when he was an MP. The constable filed a complaint against the MP.

The case came up for seer times for hearing but he never attended. Finally, the judge issued a non-bailable warrant against him. Incidentally, he is also facing a number of cases of thrashing government employees.
