Muslim Women conferences held
Hyderabad, February 12, 2006The two Muslim women's conferences being held on Sunday adopted unanimous resolutions to launch a campaign at the national level to create awareness of their rights in Islam and how they are being forced to submissive to men with improper interpretation of verses from the Quran.
The conference being organized by Jamaat-e-Islaami Hind, while condemning the aggressive attitude of the US towards Ira and cartoons of Prophet Mohammed first published by a Danish newspaper. They also resolved to launch a membership drive across the country. At a conference organized in Moghulpura by Sunni Ulema Board, a resolution was adopted asking women to pay a major role in shaping the society by setting things right a home.
