Hyderabad, December 9, 2006

A young software engineer in the UK was found murdered in a residential apartment in the Kundanbagh locality on Saturday morning. The victim was identified as S Nataraj of Kakinada native. He has been staying in as paying guest who recently came from London. Some unidentified miscreants stabbed him to death in the hostel room and fled the place leaving the door locked.

According to police, at about 7.40am, hostel cook Gouthamdas was called by Nataraj to repair the water heater in the bathroom. The cook fixed it and left the place. After an hour later he returned to his room for breakfast. He found the door was locked but there were blood strains were on the side of the door. There were blood strain also at the entrance. He immediately informed the hostel owner who in turn informed the Panjagutta police.

The police broke open the door and found Nataraj lying in a poll of blood. The sources said that there were multiple stab wounds on his body. The police found clothes of a woman in the bathroom and two condoms and a blood strained towel on the terrace. The police had shifted the body to the mortuary and victim's parents were informed and investigation is going on.
