New campus will be set up in the SEZ
Hyderabad, December 8, 2006
The Cognizant president and CEO, Lakshmi Narayanan at a press conference on Friday said that it had plans to expand its infrastructure in Hyderabad by investing Rs. 140 crore in the next coming two years. The investment planned through the end of 2008 including land acquisition, construction of facilities and furnishings. The company expects to build its first fully owned techno complex that will increase Cognizant's presence in the State Capital.
He said that the new campus will be in the Special Economic Zone and State Government had allotted land for the construction of new centre. He added that the in the last one year alone, more than 14,000 people had been recruited.
