Government ready to cut in power tariff
Hyderabad, December 6, 2006The Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy after laying foundation stone for a Rs. 25 crore apparel unit of Bangalore based Gokalda Exports Ltd, readymade garments major Shahi Export and Textport Syndicate at Nacharam on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the Government is ready to reduce power tariff.
He further said that other infrastructure like roads would be put in place at the parks and favored setting up of more special economic zones (SEZs) in the State possibly in every district. Minister for Labour G. Vinod, speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the function that SEZs were in the pipeline in Guntur, Chittoor and Chirala. The three units to come up in the new apparel park at Nacharam and an investment of Rs. 250 crores is to be made in the coming three yeas and will given employment to nearly 8000 persons.
