Urges people no to be lavish on expenditure
Hyderabad, December 30, 2006The Chief Minister Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy said on Saturday that he planned to celebrate the New Year in a simple manner. He asked the visitors who would call on him on New Year’s Day to avoid ostentation and refrain from bringing gifts and appealed that the money spent on them may be remitted to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund so that it can be used to help the people in distress according to a press release. He urged the people to say no to lavish expense as a New Year resolution.
