Another TRS MLA revolts against KCR

MLA asked the voters to vote for a national party

Hyderabad, December 2, 2006

In another set back to the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), S. Baburao, MLA from Boath in Adilabad district is the eight MLA from separatist party leader to raise revolt banner against the TRS president and contesting candidate in Karimnagar by election. He said that the people of Telangana wanted development and asked the Karimnagar voters to vote and support the national party which is trying to develop the region.

He added that as many as 2800 beedi workers paid Rs. 5,000 to the Government as K. Chandrasekhara Rao promised to construct houses for them but the promise was not fulfilled till now. He commented that he was acting detrimental to the interests of the tribals and he was hurt by his attitude. In an open letter to the party president, he leveled several charges against him.
