Basith succeeds Swaranjit Sen
Hyderabad, December 27, 2006
Principal Secretary (Home) MA Basith will succeed Swaranjit Sen as the next Director General of Police (DGP) who is retiring on December 31, 2006. The State Government has issued orders to this effect on Wednesday. Meanwhile Additional DGP (Law and Order) PV Naidu will be the new Principal Secretary (Home). The new DGP will assume charge on January 1, 2007.
