Hyderabad, December 22, 2006The digitized versions of debates in the State Legislature Assembly since 1952 was released at a function in the old building on the Assembly premises on Friday by the Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy to mark the golden jubilee celebrations of the Assembly.
Speaker KR Suresh Reddy who presided the meeting said this is was the beginning of e-documentation of the proceedings of the House and efforts are on to record the proceedings since 1996 in video format. The Congress MLA N. Manohar who coordinated the project taken up by International Institute of Information Technology said that uses could access speeches in the Assembly online.
