Hyderabad, December 18, 2006

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) on Monday released the list of 552 candidates who were selected for the Group I services. The list has been forwarded to the Government for appointments in the respective departments.

The APPSC Chairman Y. Venkatarami Reddy said that the selected were to fill up the vacancies in 17 categories including Deputy Collectors, DSP, Regional Transport Officer and District Employment Officer. He added that another recruitment drive for Group I officers in view of the vacancies in the Government and the recruitment of Junior Lecturers and lecturers will be completed by April next year.
